Flying Animals to Canada
Everything you need to know

Vaccines -

All types of dogs entering Canada are required to be vaccinated against rabies.
A dog that is not vaccinated against rabies and will not find rabies antibodies in the blood tests will not be approved for entry into Canada.
It is recommended to vaccinate all animals against rabies but there is no mandatory rabies vaccine definition for all animals entering Canada except dogs.

Electronic chip and identification tags -

The Sky Pets Play team strongly recommends attaching an electronic chip to cats as well, but entry into Canada is allowed for cats that do not carry an electronic tag / chip.
Entry into Canada for dogs is conditional on carrying an electronic chip only, and must contain all of the dog’s identifying details.
A dog that does not carry an identification tag / electronic chip will not be allowed to enter Canada.

Medical certificates -

As with any destination country, Canada also has a list of requirements to approve the entry of your pet into its lands.
A comprehensive medical examination is required as a requirement for each animal up to 10 days from the date of arrival in Canada.
The Sky Pets Play team consists of professional veterinarians who will examine your pet, without queues, and without unnecessary headaches, and after the comprehensive examination we will issue you the necessary documents and approvals for the flight.

when do we start?

The Sky Pats Play team recommends starting the process about a month before the date of arrival at the desired destination.
We will accompany you throughout the process, with any question, and anywhere.
